YWCA Hotel – a social enterprise hotel
Vancouver's YWCA Hotel is a mission-related social enterprise providing affordable accommodations for travellers and generating revenue that sustains YWCA Metro Vancouver community service work. When you stay at the YWCA Hotel, you are directly supporting the many women, children and families who need our services every week. Of our profit, your stay provides:
- $10 to purchase one emergency food voucher for a low-income family
- $21 to purchase a booklet of bus tickets for a single mother to attend support services
- $50 to assist single mothers' support programs helping women overcome the barriers of parenting alone while working towards economic independence
